KNIGHTIA EXCELSA - REWAREWA

A tall, pyramidal New Zealand native which will become a big tree with time but can be trimmed. Leaves are long and pale green with the edges slightly serrated. Flowers are fantastic and attract birds and bees. Rewarewa will handle dry and moderately windy conditions.

The Icon Trees nursery covers 50 acres. So that we can attend to your requirements it is important to visit by appointment only; we may not be able to give you access to the nursery without prior arrangement.

 

Our usual opening hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Roots are the anchors and feeding mechanism for a tree, if these are not right then the success of the tree is compromised.  What might look like a big strong tree may not be mirrored by it root system.  Icon Trees is one of the few nurseries that identify with this issue and dispose of these trees instead of growing them on to the next grade or supplying trees that will not successfully reach maturity.
