PLATANUS ORIENTALIS - ORIENTAL PLANE
A large, reasonably fast growing tree with a spreading, tall habit and outreaching branching. Hardy and suitable to most conditions. It has green leaves in the summer turning golden brown in winter and an interesting ornamental effect on the trunk of spots of grey and light brown. It is a parent of the London Plane, the main difference is the deeper fingered effect in the leaf with pointed leaves.
