RHOPALOSTYLIS SAPIDA - NIKAU
New Zealand's only native palm and a distinctive and solid feature for any NZ garden. Nikau are tall, upright palms with spreading fronds. Slow growing, a thick ringed trunk will develop over time and a solid bulb will form at the base of the frond’s growth. Small red/green berries and a multi finger-like flower occur once a year. Hardy to colder conditions.
